  Since I have been living in Guangzhou, I have been coming to McCawleys.
  
  This is my go to place when I want good beer and good food.
  
  Tait, the manager is the best manager I have ever experienced. Totally professional, amazing customer facing skills, will always accommodate. He is legend.
  
  Sometimes we go in a huge group of expat family's, sometimes I go on my own. We have had parties here and they have been great fun.
  
  The food here is the best western food in Guangzhou. The butchers block tomahawk steak is the best.
  
  The nachos are the best.
  
  You can get kilkenny beer here.
  
  The toilets clean.
  
  The staff helpful and friendly.

  I used to come for fajita Thursday because the deal is great. The fajitas are good, very filling and a great price but service is terrible. Every time I order veggie fajitas we are the first ones in the restaurant before lunch rush and yet somehow they never make it to me within an hour, even after questioning the wait service multiple times to check on my food. Twice they took so long I had to rush back to work and they wouldn't let me cancel the order when I'd waited more than 45 minutes (none of this is an exaggeration btw). I've come in the evening a couple times and ordered tacos and tortilla soup and wasn't thrilled by either one. Every time I think I'll give them another chance, they let me down. I'll not be going back again.

  For a beer and some Thai food. Western didn't try, burgers look just fine, but I'm not a pub food person 😀

  10 years looking for half decent steak in China with no success. Today that changeunbelievably tasty steaks along with lovely setting and atmosphere.

  Pork tacos were fine. I was looking for a change from Chinese food. The menu looks like it has a very good selection of both food and drinks.

  Nice pub that transports you to Ireland. All dark wooden furniture, walls and floor. Good service and a wide choice of beer, ciders and other liquor. Worth a visit if you're nearby and worked up a thirst!
