  Location is good! You can see west lake in hotel! But expensive

  Hotel in best area, directly beside the West Lake. Staff is friendly, professional and helpful. Rooms are clean but quite old. They are running a refurbishment program for the whole Hotel until March 2018.

  Great location. A bit run down property. Chinese restaurant (28 Hubin) serves tasty food. Cafe b'fast is ok, could be better. Room service food presentation is boring. Service is good over all.

  Absolutely enjoyed my stay. We were there for a week's meeting. Room is spacious and clean. Housekeeping was impressive! It could easily be the best housekeeping in all the hotels I've stayed. I bring a soft toy with me when I travel for work and for leisure. It has become a benchmark for me to see the standard of housekeeping by looking at where they would put my soft toy. LOL. I've seen housekeeping that would just chuck my soft toy aside, along with my other belongings. Not only did Hyatt's housekeeping put my soft toy nicely (of course, most hotels did too), they'd arranged my make up stuffs nicely on a hand towel. Everything was good. The staffs that we've met at recep/concierge/banquet were all courteous and helpful. The sound system in the meeting room was very good. Food was good, quite a lot of choices for breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay! It's a shame that we didn't have time to have a dip in the temperature controlled pool.
  
  Oh, and the music fountain on Xi Hu (West Lake) is right in front of the hotel, perfect.

  Great hotel. Perfect location. The restaurant 28 Hu Bin Road is truly exceptional and is one of the best in China.
