Obama and CIA, stop interfering in Tibet and South China Sea, the land is ours , and stop trying to kill innocent foreign leaders who you kill just because they don't fund and give money to USA , and you were trying to fight communist Vietnam , and now you are helping them fight us because we may be the worlds next superpower?? Wow ! When we were poor , because you helped foreign leaders invade china like during the boxing rebellion , you called us dogs, when we tried communism you called us evil , when we tried to stop our population from growing because you said China is too crowded, you called us in humane , when we became a world superpower , you said we were evil and anti American . What do you want from us America ? To be a poor and corrupt democracy ? No way . Also so many rude Americans that expect people here to speak English ! This is China and we speak Putonghua, close minded guizi!

I've been to several different embassies around the world, and I have to say that the one in Beijing is the absolute worst one that I have seen.
This is the United States Embassy. Why doesn't anyone speak English?
The guard at the gate looked at me and asked me something in Chinese. I replied "I'm here for an appointment". he asked me something again in Chinese. I said, I have a 2 PM appointment. He had NO IDEA what I was talking about, finally he looked back at someone behind the gate, and he just waved me through. Next step security. They kept asking me questions in CHINESE. I'm an American visiting China, I DON'T SPEAK CHIENSES. The peoeple at the embassy should speak Chinese.
Next, I went to the US Citizen services, the lady that helped me was Chinese and again, you guessed it SHE COULDNT SPEAK ENGLISH.

Worst costumer service, never pick up the phone, always automatic machine talk.. I made calls more than ten times, eventually, a Chinese person pick up the phone, and I don't think she knows English very well, she could not answer my questions and put me on hold for 15 min..

Customer service: Close to nil. No phone numbers for you to reach the visa department directly. Only third party phone service that tells you everything you can find online. If you reach them by email, they will promptly send you a robotic template to answer all your inquiries.

Consulate is constantly over-crowded, two hours wait time even if you arrive on time. No place to sit down.

Horrific bunch of bureaucrats. Inefficient and arrogant.

Always very friendly and helpful, however do your home work. Like much of American customer service it is partially self help. That, means you need to go to their website to research solutions on your own, download forms and follow the procedures for making appointments etc. Honestly some of the one star comments sound childish whining from spoiled brats that can't do anything to help themselves.
