I have stayed there several times. It is a typical Crown Plaza. The bad thing is the location if you want to get local food. It is located pretty far inside a private drive. There is a mall once you walk the long walk but the mall is pretty much deserted. The outside is starting to look run down for such a new hotel. I am surprised the hotel don't pay much attention to the upkeep. The lobby is big and bright. The breakfast restaurant offers good selection and is very busy in the morning. The only western option Mad Hatter was closed for renovation and even when opened had strange hours. The rooms are normal China standard. One thing is that the halls of the guest floors all smells like Mala Hot Pot. They really need to do something about that:)
Very nice place, clean, nice people, worth your money.
Very good service, facilities and room.
Depends a little on which floor you stay on (generally the higher the better), but the rooms are spacious and nice. Maintenance seems to be an issue for this hotel as much of the building is in a state of disrepair. However, the restaurants are great, it's close enough to local attractions, safe, and all in all very comfortable.
I've stayed here for work three times over the past two years. Three weeks at a time. This is about 40 minutes by taxi or bus to downtown. If you are looking for downtown this isn't it. That said, the hotel is nice on a manicured property. It is next to a KTV, across the street is a park. Then further from that are two shopping malls. There is a walking path that goes around the mountain the hotel backs up to. The hotel staff is very attentive. The hotel is clean. Breakfast at the first floor restaurant can't be beat. There are several dining options on site. The mad scientist bar has sports on TV, drinks and food, and video games, board games, and a dart board. The executive lounge is cozy with appetizers and beverages during happy hour.
nice hotel, clean good service and good price
