A bit of a haven in Shanghai. Even on hot days you can wander around most paths are shaded by lovely trees
It's just across the road from the Dorsett Shanghai Hoteltake sub way line 2 and exit # 4.
Costs 10 RMB to enter the park. When you get to the center of the park, you lose all sense of being in a large city as it gets nicely quiet & peaceful - the hustle & bustle goes on "pause" 😴.
Very popular, biggest park in the middle of Pudong, Shanghai! Beautiful with a canal flowing through. Venue for an annual flower show in the Spring/Summer. Also includes popular concerts and some massive fireworks displays during National Day celebrations!
Fantastic way to spend a beautiful day! Even if gardens aren't your thing, the sheer size, beauty, and design of this place should impress most anyone; there is just so much to see! Also, it is very inexpensive for families and travelers on a budget.
Very nice park to visit and walk around, except for the summer period when it's way to hot ;)
It's a big park for walking and relaxing, but better to be without tickets.
Great place to take a walk and pictures, best season to come here is spring season where flowers and trees are in bloom.
A rare green zone in ultra-urban Shanghai. Think of Central Park in NYC and you get the idea. 10 yuan entry fee. Only open during daylight hours. Bike and paddleboat rentals. A nice option to tire the kids out if the temperature is nice and the pollution levels are not too bad. You can even do a little fishing!
Massive park and a nice break from busy Shanghai! Small entry cost of 10 RMB.
I had the pleasure to be there when park was hosting that famous giant rubber duck! That day crowds were enormous, not sure how it looks on normal days. Make sure to bring blanket, plenty of space to relax lying on grass.
