As an experienced travel, this airport is easily the worst I've ever dealt with. I almost missed my connecting flight because the passport check and security lines are not run efficiently whatsoever. You would think 1 hour 40 minutes would be plenty of time, but it's not whatsoever. Upon clearing security, there are men on golf carts that offer rides, which seems greatBut they drive a few feet and ask you for $20USD to take you to your gate. They know you're about to miss your flight and prey of how desperate you might be. I will be avoiding this airport at ALL costs!
Great facilities and some of the immigration staff are not bad. Security really goes fast for international departures. 24/72 hr visa agent was quick and nice. Highly recommend the Air China Business Lounge on T3E, great food and restrooms were excellent.
Amazingly huge and organized. It took us 10 min to check in and reach the right terminal before we started to explore the shops and then decided to take a bite at one of the restaurants facing the runway. It was a great experience.
Good airport. Strict security checks which give you a good feeling of being secure, long opening of duty free shops, free WiFi available, very clean and free water cooler available.
Transfer within 45 minutes is possible. During winter time it is bit cold inside especially during midnight time.
Great airport! A lot of shops and everything went very smooth. However a big minus in terminal 3 was that there were no fast track in function. Loved the Air China business lounge which was big and a good selection of food and snacks.
for me, this is one of the best airport in this world. clean and beautiful architec. me and my family happy with the crew cause they helpful about the costumers
Wow! Such a cool airport. Came here with my with my wife and it was such a grand experience.
Huge ceilings! Pently of restaurants. Nice lounges. 10/10 would come again.
Some people commented on the service not being so good. I mean c'mon, you don't come to China and expect service.
First class hardware, third class service. Having used this landmark complex 5 times last year. I have to say this is a great architecture and engineering piece. However, my memory with the airport is fat from pleasant. It is lack of quality service. Specially, the traveler flows in security check and border clearance are very poorly arranged. It seems no one manages the customer experience. In the peak hours, the area just looks like a old time market. Terrible.
Large and orderly, with good train system between terminals. Check-in areas are always crowded though. It's better and cheaper to buy SIM card in Beijing. There're some automatic machines for SIM card, but they are always out of order, and people nearby will sell the same SIM cards at much higher prices.
Best, most efficient airport in the world. Very expansive, very beautiful architecture. Large enough to handle big crowds with no jostling. I had no problems getting around. All the food and amenities were very inexpensive. Service was friendly formal and excellent. Customs agents were formal and friendly with no problems. Air China is the best airline in the world. I experienced no discomfort whatsoever dealing with Beijing Capital International Airport or Air China. Plenty of inexpensive parking.
