Big book store here! You may spent a whole day at here, if you are book lover. Unluckly most books are in simplified chinese only. The catering around the book store are nice too.

Everyday is a book festival here.Suggest you DON'T waste your bleeding n sweating money n wait for an hour in a queue outside the yearly book festival in Convention Centre.

Place with vibrant wonderful atmosphere. Leisure and work seem to come together here: the bookstore is located within a rather large shopping/cultural centre where there is always something (classes, workshops, etc) going on. Lots of stuff for kids and adults alike to do some of which include pottery, painting, learning, reading. Abundance of cafes and store where handmade goods are sold

I went there on a Sunday, reached there around noon. In front of the center is a large spacious land where many interesting street artist gathered. The various types of street artists kept me well fascinated
There was Shaolin Kung-fu performing stunts with glass bottles with sharp edges and other stunts; plenty of Chinese calligraphers; painters; musicians (some are handicapped while some were quite noisy though).
Inside the building was a book shop.
The best thing about visiting place is, you can visit several other places of interest as well! Within walking distance, you can visit Shenzhen Museum, Shenzhen Library, Lianhuashan Park. A combination visits to these places would keep in occupied for one nice Sunday morning, if the weather is cool and good.
