One of the best built embassies in Yaounde, probably the biggest and most majestic. Courteous staff in line with US standards in customer service. Security is a bit paranoid making the place feel unfriendly at the gate. Inside, atmosphere is closer to normal US public service. Appearing a bit less uptight on security outside would make the place friendlier. More friends as opposed to more fear ultimately means more security for the US embassy and the USA.
Overall very good.
