Ngeme ! A small village in between Limbe & Batoke on the West Coast. Typical mix of 3rd world & more modern societies. The people are very friendly, courteous & a pleasure to know. There are many bush bars along the road, but by far the best is Auntie Gwen's bush bar where you are assured of a warm welcome by the owner & her family. The drinks are also sensibly priced. You cannot see it from the road, but everyone knows of it - so just ask ! Many different types of local cuisine can be found at the roadside, but the fish dishes are amazing. Some tourists can be found, and a few kms away at Limbe, there are many tourist attractions such as the botanical gardens.
