I enjoyed the hotel for the cost. The room was decent, the bathroom was ok, and it was definitely nice being close to the beach. The restaurant, however, was really expensive and the service was non existent with exception to the front desk. Every morning we were woken up by the housekeeper asking when we were leaving which was annoying. Had to ask for towels and toilet paper but thankfully the AC worked. Again considering the price, I'd say this hotel was worth it for the beach access alone.

Just visited the beach for the day in Jan 2012. The waves of the ocean were quite gentle. It is very nice to walk along the beach, with amazing views to the jungle forest at the foot of mt cameroun. There is a small fresh water pond, bring googles, and you'll see many beautiful fish.
A small expedition could be organized in order to see wild elephants roaming the jungle forest of mt cameroun national park (don't even try to go kill them !). The ocean is pretty much virgin, though I saw some color fish swimming in a rocky area not far.
