  Limbe City Council is the power House of the entire community. It controls all the Limbe councils - Limbe 1, 2 and 3.

  Limbe  was founded by Afred Saker during 1858. It's former name was Victoria which was later change into a name spelled Limbe. Limbe as presently known is a seaside city in theSouthwest Province of Cameroon. 
  
  Today Limbe constitute four Councils:Limbe City Council - having the Government Delegate, Limbe I, Limbe II and Limbe III Councils- having Mayors.   As formerlly said, Limbe was founded in 1858 on the southern slopes ofMount Cameroon by the British missionaryAlfred Saker. 
  
  Today Limbe has undergone evolutions in several aspects such as population, Touristic sites, cultures, Industries and many more. In the year 2001 it was estimated that the population of Limbe was known to be 84,500 inhabitants. As of 2008, i guessed the population is almost doubled as was guessed in 2001.
