The Hilton's 11th Floor (Panoramic restaurant) is always a good choice for a night out with friends.
Extremely rude female staff, from reception up to the executive lounge. I've been to a few African countries and about 80 countries total and this is, by far, the worst experience towards Caucasians that I've ever experienced. Never have I ever encountered more dirty looks in a 6 hour period in my lifefrom the airport to the "nice" hotel. We even shared a Presidential suite between the 3 of us, that has 3 bedrooms. The souvenir store is "on their own hours" so the posted hours are false. The executive lounge staff gave us dirty looks the entire time and the conversation with them was totally awkward, the entire lounge felt the awkwardness. Overall, very dissapointed.
Terrible check in and check out procedures.
Best decent hotel in Yaounde. Quite packed at times. Courteous personnel. Internet bandwidth need improvement at times. Food is fine. Good options on breakfast with healthy options.
Always a pleasure being to Hilton Yaounde. The professionalism of the staff and the location of the hotel make everything possible. The 11th floor is to be visited.
A 5star hotel located in yaounde (Cameroon) offers very satisfactory services and comfort
Well located beside the PM s office and beside the national BEAC office, boulevard is just a stone through. 100m from the ministry of finance.
Magnificent. Exquisite. This must be 7 Star Hotel. Luxury at its best.
Good place, great professional staff.
Quiet place dispute been in downtown
Nice place to stay and secure. Will come back for sure.
Nice spacious rooms though I would love them more without the carpet. Cuisine good. Great effort to include local dishes on the menu. Extensive in room dining menu. Staff very hospitable and bilingual.
All the staff at breakfast sang me a happy birthday song.Rather touching.
Mixed feelings. Definitely luxury in the midst of Yaounde. But it is really secured and separate from the community. Definitely caters to a different type of people (namely white) in a Black African country. But the accommodations and food are excellent.
Just wonderful. It is worth coming
Great place! The entire staff very friendly. Amazing food choices.
Good food, excellent accommodation and good conference facilities
When the time comes to choosing a hotel, I first look to see if the rooms are comfortable and calming, then what the hotel has to offer, how the breakfast tastes, and if the staff is friendly and helpful. In Africa, choosing a good hotel is especially important, because the life standards and expectations there might not be as high as you are used to. Hilton is a branch that has hotels almost everywhere in the world, and they have standards that they have to fulfill. Hilton Yaounde meets these standards very well. The rooms both reflect the culture and are comforting. There are wooden dressers that call out you are in Africa. A bed that takes you away on clouds, a couch that is maybe a little too soft but still fitting for the room, a glass desk that gives the room a little modern air. The restroom had a bathtub, but it doesn't look very appealing to me. The water sometimes comes off as too hot or too cold. Other than these minor errors I don't think this hotel has any negative sides. The fitness room has a lot of workout machines to offer, there is an outside pool with a fountain in the middle, and there are sauna, massage and Hammam in the hotel. The breakfast is legendary. I definitely recommend the mangoes and watermelon as well as the beacon. The omelet is also great; they even offer to put spinach in it. The omelet looks white, it can have lots of ingredients, and not too greasy. The staff is friendly, happy, and helpful. I especially liked this one woman working at the fitness center, who smiled so big. After I went in the gym she noticed that I hadn't taken a towel and brought one for me. I recommend Hilton Yaounde, if you are planning to stay in Yaounde, Cameroon. It was a pleasant stay for me.
I think this falls in the first 5 best hotels in Cameroon. I've been there twice on official capacity. It's luxurious and nice. Though expensive.
This place can be one of the best hotel in yaounde and in Cameroon as whole but still lucking a lot.. the place is very dirty it needs refurbishment everything is very dirty and old like most of the hotels in Cameroon the set up is very poor it needs a modern touch i was very disappointedbut yet it ridiculously an expensive place we ordered 04 glasses of juice and two 02 slices of cake 🎂 for my boys guess how much I was charged for that CFA 27000.00 at the café
A very beautiful and cozy place, definitely the best in cameroon. Best customer service and care
Excellent service complimented with clean and comfortable rooms. Stayed in in room 620 for three nights. FriendlyFront Office staff but security check at entrance could be annoying due to frequency.
A good hotel in Yaounde, but don't expect top tier service.
