This is the central mosque of Foumban whereby muslims offers their daily duty to Allah(swt). This mosque can be admired from within and without with the recent architectural renovations that was made on it.
It has been serving as the Central mosque of the town of Foumban long ago. It's minaret are high up enable muslims to in the environs to hear the caller calling to prayer. The mosque is under the supervision of Sultan Njoya (king of the Bamouns).
The mosque has in it a complexe for the Ulamas that serves as school for retraining and continues studies of the Imams. It is a very beautiful site to visit.
I mostly love it fragrance. What a holy place of worship!report this review
