Disorganized. The place needs total refurbishment. Food quality is poor. Staff can't speak English and accessible path for people who are physically challenged. Most often lift is out of service.

I spent two weeks at hotel des députés with my students in 2013 and we were very pleased that we made this choice. The hotel is located in a central spot in Yaoundé, with a great view on the lake. It is easily accessible and very safe, closed to all meaningful attractions and activities. There is a lot of room in the bed rooms, the bar, the restaurant and the patios. The restaurant is excellent with a very friendly and helpful personnel.
The hotel has just received an overhaul as we were there and the room were very clean. The only negative point for me were some parts missing on the bed frame and electric wires not well connected nor well hidden inn the bathroom.
I strongly recommend this place for those looking for a decent and safe place with less budget in Yaoundé.response / report this review
