Chariot Hotel is the most luxurious four stars hotel in the South West Region of Cameroon. Its facilities are outstandingly gorgeous and are put in place to satisfy the needs of the numerous tourists coming into the country as well as its inhabitants. Its dazzling facilities are as follows:

Big structure with little amenities befitting it. Only on socket in the wall in the room. Breakfast is monotonous :same food every morning. Toilet too small. Worse of all, hotel is far from commercial centre!!

The worst service / hotel I ever had in Cameroun. The personel is rude and almost everything in my room was broken. We were leaving for a 3 day hike to Mont Cameroun so we wanted to rest before and after at the Chariot. The toilet was broken, the shower was not working (so we ended up not taking any before leaving for 3 days on the mountain) and the TV in the room was broken. When we woke up the next day I told the staff at the reception that the room was unacceptable, and that we would come back after the 3 day hike and that I would like something better. We left the luggages at the hotel to come back When we came back 3 days later to spend the night and take our luggages, they had given our room to someone else even though I made sure we had a reservation!!!!! So we litterally had to leave with our luggage and change hotel. One of the worst hotel experience I've had in a long time, and let me just say there are a lot of other (and cheaper) hotels in Buea, as I learned when I got kicked out of the Chariot. Stay away from this place!
