  After posting this comment I was contacted by Marta who was great in helping to resolve the problems. She should be commended for her hard work and her diligence and customer-focused approach. She remained in constant contact throughout the rest of the move and personally made sure that all the remaining parts of the move went smoothly. The USA based part of the operation were courteous, efficient and very flexible with the final delivery.
  
  I am happy that I used Ward and would recommend them, but I would suggest contacting their customer service quicker than I did if you have any doubts about the specifics of your move.

  I contacted Ward for my move from Chile to Orlando, FL USA. At first the representative was very attentive and professional. He came to do the estimate and agreed to pack and ship the items in January. They estimated that it would take 4-6 weeks to arrive.
  
  About 3 or 4 weeks ago (after the original promised date of delivery) they contacted me to say that we had packed more than the volume quoted originally and that i needed to send them additional money. I reluctantly paid them (even though we packed everything that was described during the initial consultation and it was their estimations that were wrong) in hopes that we would be wrapping this up very soon.
  
  It is now end of April and the items are nowhere to be found. I have tried contacting the people whom I had contact with in the past with no responses. Very poor customer service and obviously they are unable to meet deadlines. Look elsewhere, anywhere for your international moving needs.

  Horrible experience in all ways
  
  I contacted Ward for my move from Chile to Orlando, FL USA. At first the representative was very attentive and professional. He came to do the estimate and agreed to pack and ship the items in January. They estimated that it would take 4-6 weeks to arrive.

  Excellent service from this company that shipped my belongings from Chile to the UK. Efficient packers and everything arrived in good time and completely undamaged. Would not hesitate to recommend this company. Thank you!

  I had used Ward Van Lines once before when moving from Chile to Australia and they were very good, so I used them again when leaving Chile the second time to move to the US. On packing day everything was great, they worked efficiently and packed our valuable things far better than I would. I was happy to give each worker a generous tip since efficient, hard workers aren't the norm in Chile. After finally getting around to sorting the last of our stuff after arriving, we noticed things were missing. All the boxes in the shipment were accounted for, but an almost new bottle of perfume, a video game, and at least 7 valuable collectibles were nowhere to be seen. I hate to jump to conclusions, but the last time we saw those items were as they sat ready to be packed. I'm sure this isn't a reflection on the company as a whole, but the only possibility I can come up with is one of the workers stole the missing items.
  
  They also packed some containers we had in a very bad way, by opening them and tucking the packing paper inside and wrapping around. We didn't know this and after unpacking found lots of loose bits from inside the containers floating around in the paper and boxes, some of which were discarded before we realised.
