El volcan de Villa Rica es un sitio que definitivamente debes visitar si vienes a la zona, el tour o trekking al volcan es bastante caro, 100.000 CLP por persona, esta vez decidimos subir por nuestra cuenta y hacer una de las rutas que se ven en el camino, fue super buena la experiencia y conseguimos excelentes fotos desde arriba.

A special experience climbing to the top of the volcano. The view is outstanding. Climbing up between rocks of lava and snow. Sliding down on the snow most of the way

Awesome Volcano. Amazing views.

The vent at the summit was like looking into a doorway to the Underworld. Very dramatic. Requires a guide to ascend, and you need to be fit. Crampons (provided) are a must.

I went to climb the top of the vulcano there. Tough but amazing trip. If the weather allows it, definitely go there!

Beautiful, beautiful and beautiful!
We came in the low season and enjoyed a lot.
Climbed with the company named Antu and were really really impressed by the professionality of the guides. Would definitely pick them as the company to climb with again. We felt completely safe the whole way and were always asked if everything's okay.response / report this review -

One of the most beautiful and accessible parks in Chile. Hot springs, amazing views, hikes and climbing (you can reach the top of a volcano here).

Climbing the volcano at Pucon is a tough experience but one that's really special and worth doing. You'll have to go with an organised group and be prepared to hike up ice and rough terrain. It's not for the faint-hearted and you'll need a reasonable level of fitness.
Coming down, sliding on the ice, is a lot of fun, though!response / report this review
