It's for people that already know ski or snowboard. We spent 3 hours only to rent clothes, locker and to get ski equipments that were already rented. From 9 to midday. Long lines, many lines one to do each thing. One to rent clothes, another one to get clothes etc. The process is really strange, each line you have to inform your credit card as a guarantee The park is beautiful, but the area for beginners is too small and many people trying to learn at the same time. The class was focused on people that learned easier, instead of people that would need more time to br able to practice. There are nothing more than ski and snowboard. I think he best experience here would be stay at the Valle Nevado Hotel some days to take ski classes and to enjoy better the place. For people that want only to have fun on snow, Farellones is your place. For people who like and know snow sports, Valle Nevado is nice.

It's expensive, but it is a very enjoyable and fun place. You can have ski and snowboard lessons and enjoy all the ski trails. They has all the facilities to supoort the all day of fun.

Best ski resort near Santiago. The road is crazy to go up there as it goes from 900m to 3000m in about 40 kms.
Once there you will be skiing in a great resort, not much to do if you are not into skiing. Snow season usually lasts a bit longer than close neighbours La Parva and El Colorado as Valle Nevado is higher.
