Se puede acceder por dos accesos diferentes. Yo lo hice por el río Enco. Es preferible en 4x4. 12 km aproximadamente. El camino termina cruzando un puente de madera y se encuentra el inicio del sendero que te lleva a la base del glaciar

Demaciado bueno, los paisajes son hermosos, ir en cualquier estación es para deleitarse. Tuve la oportunidad de ir en verano y se puede andar con tranquilidad y pasear por los caminos que tienen la reserva. Además se puede conocer la nieve en tiempo de verano y no hay mayor preocupación, se puede subir caminando lo cual son dos horas donde se deja el automóvil

This is a beautiful place to visit in any moment of the year, however the experience of getting there is very bad. I tried to drive the entire road up to the volcanoes Mocho and Choshuenco now on September 20th, 2013, but even driving a 4 x 4 it was impossible to get there and not a single 4 x 4 could cross at least that day as there was an area 9 - 10 Kms before reaching the end of that road in which it was simply cut as it has over 50 cms of pure mud which made it non trans-passable. The road is totally abandoned according to people of the area, therefore it is a pitty, as from the top you can see several lakes and volcanoes. There is another road to get there through Huilo-Huilo park and we took it the next day and reached there to an area where a small ski resort operates.
