Wonderful little plaza with a great ground view of the Cliff that overlooks the city.

It used to be an awesome park, with lots of trees and grass. But after some time, the local government thought it was a great idea to turn it into a place for local massive events, because it holds the view of Morro in the background. So, they replace almost all the green areas with concrete and steel and now it is a big space where the skaters play. By night is not a nice place, because of the lack of lights and the stupid backpackers who think that it is ok to camp in a city park, so be prepared for loud noises, people asking for coins, drunk hobos, smelly corners and even some fights and robberies. So, please, avoid it by night. During day it is a nice place to take pictures with morro on the back.

A good rest spot with plenty of seating and shade nearby. Slightly outside of the main drag so it's a bit quieter, but salesmen occasionally come by to pitch a product. Spend the hot hours in the shade, or the afternoon watching other vacationers and locals milling around.
