  Shore excursions on a South America cruise
  I found several favorable reviews of Shorex so I emailed them to get a list of their tours and the costs. Jaime, the owner, was very responsive to my initial inquiry and my numerous questions in subsequent emails. We booked tours in several of our port stops. Our guides were almost all excellent. One was very good but had a bit of an accent. One of our port stops (Ushuaia) was cancelled due to weather. Jaime immediately refunded our pre-payment for that tour.
  I would highly recommend Shorex for their responsiveness, the overall quality of their guides, their competitive prices (especially compared to the ships excursions), and the convenience of one stop shopping for excursions in many ports.

  My wife and I did the Puerto Montt zip line tour. We had the BEST time. This was the first we had ever done a zip line tour. I am 61 and my wife is 57. We don't let our age stop us from doing exciting things in life. The view was breath taking and the guides were knowledgeable. We highly recommend this tour.

  We booked 3 tours with Patagonia while on a cruise. In all cases we were met promptly and in close proximity to the cruise ship. The guides were knowledgable and courteous. The vans used were comfortable and the drivers drove well. We particularly enjoyed the excursion to the Tierra del Fuego Park. The guide was a lot of fun and she selected some trails for us to hike in as we requested

  In Puerto Montt we joined Jeremy and a bunch of other CC people for a brilliant tour of Puerto Varas guided by Jamie from PatagoniaShorex https://www.Patagoniashorex/. Jeremy lined this up before the cruise and we were lucky enough to get some seats at the CC meet and greet at the start of the cruise. Toured the lakes district and had lunch at a small local restaurant. Thanks for organizing this Jeremy.

  We appreciate all the efforts you have made to fulfill all our requests from the first moment we started our e-mail corresponding plus our long Skype talks, until the end of our trip.
  
  Thanks to the program you planned, we were exposed not only to the unique and spectacular nature of Patagonia, but also to the residents and the culinary of this special region. Everything was done at a high level of service, as you promised us, and if any problem came up on our way, it was immediately fixed with a ready smile and in your unique pleasant manner (with a special Hebrew accent.).

  Good Morning Jaime, We were more than happy to give a good review of our day with you in Puerto Montt area to the Newlands. We hope they book with you and experience a great day as we did. Our photos of that day are some of the best on our trip. Feel free to give our names to anyone for recommendation. The Newlands contacted us by email and we replied that way but also giving our phone and street address. They live only three blocks away! We offered to meet with them or talk on phone, etc. but guess our glowing review of you via email was enough!!
