I love museums, this is probably the nicest one I've visited in Chile. The quality and amount of the collections is remarkable. It might seem a little pricey, but it's definitely worth it

I was very impressed with this Museum. After we visited the Precolombian History Museum, which was just ok, I didn’t expect too much of the Colchagua Museum in Santa Cruz, Chile. Was a very good experience, many interesting things to see. The sad part was that all the labels where in Spanish, and I do not speak the language. Overall so worth the visit!

A surprisingly vast collection of natural history, pre-Colombian art, and much more. If you like museums you will spend at least a pair of hours here--easily worth the cost of admission.

This was a fascinating place! Well laid out and lots of interesting exhibits including an exhibit dedicated to the 33 Chilean Miners and the events which surrounded their entrapment. Requires a few hours to appreciate well. Electronic translators are provided to assist non-Spanish speakers. Beautiful buildings.

Wide ranging history of Chile and the Americas. There is a lot to see and as a bonus your ticket is good for 24 hours so you can come back the following day.

very well set up museum with a lot of interesting exhibits. well worth a visit.

only downside is that only a small part is available in English, so be prepared accordingly.
