Nice ambience. Good lighting. Music average.do they really need any more Michael Jackson??? What’s with the chilled Pinot Noir? I thought red wines were served with natural temperature. Wine list is good. Waiters on the lecherous side..so, please, when some group with girls arrive at your bar, let’s show them a bit more professional and respectful.

The food is okay, staff is friendly and good thing is that these guys are open while many others are closed. This unit specifically has a very cool old style Italian deco and is said to be better then the other ones. You can have calf, meat, fish , pasta or salads. The beer is cold and the prices are reasonable.

It looked very appealing from the outside with lots of graffiti and inside had sports and music memorabilia which always produce talking points. We were here for the craft beer and a snack. Both were not really possible. There was no craft beer on tap only bottle , which the waiter didn't fully explain. The beers we did try were not interesting and we were unable to order a side dish, ie plate of chips, which didn't suit us as we had a dinner reservation. Quite the disappointment.

We came to Liguria on a Wednesday night around 9pm without a reservation. Because no table was available we were offered either a position at the bar immediately or to have our name noted on a waiting list for a table. We chose the last and were told to come back after 45 minutes. When we came back, the lady who noted our name told us that we had to wait a little bit longer, but the next available table was going to be for us. After another 10 minutes we were suddenly directed inside and were placed at the bar, unclear if we were supposed to wait here further for the next available table or this would be our position to have our food. So my girlfriend (who speaks better Spanish than I do) tried to get this clear by asking the lady. She responded that this would be our position for the dinner. So we explained her that we preferred a table over the bar and therefor our name was placed on the list 55 minutes ago. In stead of apologizing or explaining the situation, she immediately became unfriendly and told us we could either eat at the bar or just leave. Because we were hungry and it was late, we decided to stay, but it was certainly not a pleasant start of our evening.

Once helped by a friendly waiter and after ordering some food and drinks, our moods got better again and we enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere of this busy bar and the live music further back in the restaurant.

The menu consists mostly of typical Chilean dishes and the things we ordered were prepared well with good ingredients and they tasted good.

But despite the fairly good food and the friendly guys at the bar, our experience never really met our expectations. At the bar it was chaotic, after our first order it was hard to get the attention of a waiter and we didn’t feel treated very well overall. By the time we were done and wanted to go, the staff was so busy with cleaning, stocking the refrigerators and making cocktails that we had to ask 4 times for the bill before getting it, 25 minutes after our first attempt.

All in all, this place seems a bit hyped, and sure they have good food, but that is certainly not unique in Santiago. There are simply too many nice restaurants and bars that it would be a shame to waist your time waiting for a table here and then to be treated so badly.

Very busy place even on a Tuesday night however like my Rough Guides said the seating is huge spread out across 2 floors. No English menus so ordering took a little longer with Google Translate (don't be fooled by the pig drawing - for some reason the waiter seemed to indicate there's only one pork dish?) Great selection of drink, spoilt for choice again. Reasonable pricing for a sit down affair

Good cozy place. Good prices on drinks and the white fish with creamy spinach was delicious.

Emblematic place with delicious food, tends to be a bit crowded so arrive early or with spare time. Not so cheap, but it's worthwhile.

Un clasico! Un imperdible en la Capital! One of the most authentic restaurant/bar in town! With a great atmosphere and excellent food and drinks. Always crowded!

Great Chilean Inspiration Food and Ambiance. For a fast paced capital which is every day a little bit more globalized, finding a trendy restaurant and bar which offers great service and actually Chilean Inspiration dishes, with a very detailed oriented space, is a real breath of fresh air! And important: during the summer, you can actually enjoy A/C, in Santiago!
