  This is my library. The first Borges story I read was the one about the king who contracts to have a map drawn of his kingdom. What ensues is that the map rivals in size that of the kingdom itself. (In one of my other reviews there is reproduced a conversion stream where my friend Hussein traces the provenance of this story line, I think back to Lewis Carroll. I was disappointed to learn that the notion did not originate in the labyrinthine mind of Borges. But this epiphany diminishes not at all his mystique.) Astérix I first discovered at my best friend David's house when I was a kid. David's parents were both from Europe, and between them spoke every language and knew everything knowable. They would speak Flemish when they didn't want us to understand. This design book I would have much preferred in English, but the topic itself is irresistible. It treats the intersection of art and math, and elaborates upon such topics as phi and the golden mean, the shape of arches, and all the other quantifiable, iterated forms of man's invention. The Eyewitness guides are just great travel books. The dictionary I choose because the binding is flexible, the pages have a matt finish, the contrast of text is good, and I do not despise the font. Plus, there are inline conjugations of irregular verbs, including the subjunctive, and lots of pictures.
  
  The last thing, the absolute last thing I wanted to do was pick up twenty pounds of books. I am not allowed to go into book stores.

  Atención muy buena. Buscaba un título y lo buscaron bodega. Ademas me orientaron en como obtener un descuento por la compra. En caja no me pregu taron si alguno era para regalo. Me olvidé

  Una delle librerie storiche di Santiago, situata in pieno centro. Buona la selezione, soprattutto di letteratura cilena. Non ha purtroppo la sezione di libri di viaggio, che è quella che cerco io, ma probabilmente perché non ha sufficiente mercato. Personale gentilissimo.

  Buena atención, bastante material, aveces cuesta encontrar algún libro por el orden. Recomendada (pa ir en metro o micro, estacionar por ahí muy carozzi, te alcanza pa otro libro con esa plata)

  Además de una buena atención en el local tiene un buen servicio de ventas por internet, la espera es breve ya que los libros llegan en la fecha acordada. Recomendable!

  Bookstores in Chile are quite different from the anglosaxon countries. Here you can not check books by yourself. If you want to check books you would have a book seller behind you controlling that you don't open a book. It's annoying. Also they don't know what books they have.

  Este es otro de los muchos locales de la librería repartidos en varias partes en Santiago y en algunas ciudades del país. A semejanza de otros, es igual de caro o --si usted lo prefiere-- con los mismos precios que en la competencia (Feria Chilena del libro); pero a diferencia de ellos, es bastante estrecho y en algunos rincones, incómodo. En la zona hay otro local, ubicado a un costado de la catedral de Santiago, que se conoce como librería Manantial. Este último es más amplio y tiene más títulos. Aun así, si quiere salir de apuro para hacer algún regalo que olvidó comprar antes, vaya a este. Tiene las mismas ofertas y novedades que el resto de la cadena.

  Es lugar es amplio y luminoso. Muy bien ubicado y tiene muy buena atencion. No le doy 5 solo porque le falta algun lugar donde estar más cómodo para ver los libros

  Amplios espacios tiene esta tienda, muy buena atención cada vez que he ido. NO olviden sacar su tarjeta de la librería y así obtener descuentos.

  Después de verificar en el sitio web, me dirigí a comprar un libro a la librería Antártica del Marina Arauco, por si acaso me meto en un computador para revisar si había stock y precisamente había stock en ese local, después procedí a buscar a alguien que me ayudara a buscar el libro, para sorpresa mía no logró encontrar el libro, ya para resumir la historia, estuvieron entre 4 personas por casi 2 horas buscando el libro en la tienda, sin dar una respuesta ni solución concreta (obviamente este libro era un regalo de navidad) y dando como excusa que "tenían mucho que ordenar" y que "quizás les robaron el libro", o sea, 0 seriedad en algo tan simple como mantener un orden en su propio stock
