Beautiful place, great variety of teas, but cakes and pastries do not have the same quality: Frutillar, name of the village, is famous for its sweet produce, this place is a disappointment if you are looking for a delicious cake, kuchen or biscuits, so typical of Frutillar.

Outstandingly beautiful place, very cozy and romantic, with the great smell of lavandas all over the place, the staff is very kind and good giving advices in the best of the house to eat or drink

Top five places I've ever been! A beautiful lavanda field in front of the lake, where you can enjoy a tasty tea! Prices are very reasonable for such an amazing place. Thanks for a lovely afternoon!

A reconverted old farm, founded by German colonists in the 1860s, is now home to a cosy tearoom overlooking fields of lavender and Lago Llanquihue.
Dec. 2011 - It was a beautiful day in Frutillar with a dry heat of 30 degrees; the fields were blazing purple contrasting with a cloudless blue sky. It was a relief to take refuge in the teahouse, all cool whitewashed planks and natural wood floors. The weathered wood tables were covered with embroidered white linen and surrounded by charming mismatched chairs. We drank our beverages from a vintage tea service (Johnson Brothers Kenilworth Castle 1792) and were left to admire a wall of old teapots, cups and saucers. We ordered homemade scones and jams to accompany our tea. Simple touches like complimentary Lavender lemonade, fresh lavender sprigs at the table as well as decorated sugar cubes made the whole experience quite magical. Afterwards, we bought jam in the gift shop and walked between the lavender fields; horses were grazing in the distance, other visitors ate in the shade. We settled on a bench overlooking the lake for an afternoon of pure relaxation and calm. Were I to return, I would try to cycle to the teahouse (like the Australian couple we met) so that we could better soak in the rural landscape.

Take your favourite Tea just as the english way, delicious fingersandwiches, scones and cakes, lavender lemonade is stunning, only with reservation you can arrive to this beautiful and magic place, unmissable in Frutillar
