  Bar La Playa is a historic bar with a lot of charm. Unfortunately I did not have any of the food (I hear the seafood is delicious), but I did enjoy several of the best Pisco Sours that I had my entire time in Chile! 10/10 would come back here!

  On a cold and rainy day we sought refuge in La Playa for lunch. The very attentive waiter treated us to his own version of "menu del dia' with a delicious seafood soup, roast chicken and salad and for my friends, a tasty fried fish and a small desert. We had a reasonable carmenere wine and all in all it made for a perfect stop. Although we speak very little Spanish, the elderly waiter, who has been working there for many, many years was gracious and made many attempts to make our visit special.

  If you want to go to a historic dive bar this is the place. Order the large schop of beer and relax while trying to just one straight line in the place.

  Bar ok for a drink, not much more. Suggest to not eat there as the bar is not really well maintained, including the kitchen and restrooms. There are not really clean.

  We read about this place and it sounded cool. We took a taxi across town just to have a drink and snack. We sat at the bar right in front of the bartender. He acted like he didn't see us. After five minutes he still didn't acknowledge us. At that point we waved at him and the waitress. Still no luck. We left as we came - unnoticed. I don't know if it's chile or just this place but it was awful service. F#%€ that place!

  Good music sometimes live. Sit and the bar and just watch the locals. I can´t say I have eaten here, but the ambiance is good.
