I loved this place not only because of the modern rooms, decent internet connection, lift service, and cafe in the lobby, but I loved it because I loved Valparaiso. From the hotel, you are about a 5 minute walk from the main plaza, which has a star bucks, and a very nice cafe called cafe Melbourne (which I highly reccomend) you are also a 5 minute walk in the other direction from a funicular, and many other great cafes and restraunts. Over all, a great hotel and I would recommend,

Hotel regular. La ubicación está lejos de ser la mejor si quieres descanso, pero es ideal para quienes buscan estar cerca de las principales atracciones de Valpo. El servicio de mucamas y limpieza es pésimo. No hacen bien las camas, ni realizan aseo en la medida que corresponde. Manchas en sábanas. Arañas en las paredes. Lo bueno: el desayuno y la cordialidad de la gente de casino y administración.

When I arrived, there was a huge spider in the curtains. The room doesn't have A/C working. The view was awful. The positive side was the location, and the breakfast was ok, the people that help with the breakfast was very nice despite there is not many variety in the food.

This was a really great hotel to stay at. We were greeted the moment we arrived by cab, and were escorted inside. The front desk person was cordial and spoke excellent english, as did most everyone at the hotel. She then escorted us to our rooms, and showed us all the amenities and how to use them. There was even an espresso machine outside our room, so that we could make illy espresso's whenever we wanted.

The breakfast served at the hotel was the best of all the places we stayed in Chile. Eggs were made to order, espresso drinks made to order, a variety of fresh fruit, fresh bread, hot and cold cereal, fresh made juices, meats and cheeses were all available in a comfortable setting looking out onto the street.

The hotel was perfectly located right in the heart of the city, making getting around very easy. We love to walk, and from our hotel we could walk everywhere.

The room itself was very comfortable and very quiet, and maid service was impeccable.

All the staff was extremely friendly and helpful with directions, recommendations, and assisting us to make reservations for dinner.

I highly recommend Hotel Terranostra to anyone visiting Valparaiso.

Clean and comfortable hotel, reasonable rates. Walk to bars, restaurants and tourist attractions. Great breakfast in morning included.
