Average three star hotel in STGO. Good for business meeting and short business trips. Food was above average. Good prices

I stayed in this Hotel for a total of 10 days during a business trip. The breakfast was boring and got old very fast, by the 4th day I stopped eating there all together. It seems they do not have a kitchen, so their food is very limited.

Now, the real issue I had with this hotel. I had asked for Late Checkout the day before, as my plane left Chile at 6:00pm and the checkout is at 12:00pm. I had been granted Checkout at 2:00pm.

At about 11:00pm, I had someone knock on my door, apparently I had to leave, since my room was already "sold" to another costumer. When I went to complain in the lobby, they told me there was nothing they could do and I could just wait in the lobby if I wanted, even tho I was granted the late checkout the day prior. This usually wouldn't be an issue, but I would assume they could show some kind of respect if I had stayed in their hotel for 10 days. Now, since I couldn't carry my bags around town while I waited for my departure time, I left my bags at the front and went out for a walk. When I came back to leave and got my bags back, my carry on suitcase had the handle broken by the hotel staff. I tried argue with the manager, but he said they are not liable for the bags. Sadly I did not have time to argue as my taxi was waiting.

Great location, as there are many good restaurant around the area and it's very safe, sadly the food and the last day killed it for me.
