This is a great boutique hotel in the Bellevista district of Santiago. It may not have a lift, pool or gym but it has bucket loads of character. The coffee lounge/reading room on the first floor gives the place a relaxed ambience. The bistro food is simple and fresh. I loved my stay here and the staff are great. French style interior with a lovely courtyard. Coffee available 24/7. Fresh fruit. Daily papers. A balcony overlooking the square. Well positioned to a number of the key attractions. A great spot.

Wonderful little gem, great staff, nice location. My only negative is the bellboy Sébastien. He is a bit too much and in your face. He wouldn't give us a chance always trying to 'help' but it didn't seem genuine. He seemed to just be doing for the tip.

Fantastic hotel in a really vibrant yet safe area. Staff speak fluent English and food is amazing. The hotel itself is a 1920's castle so its unique in so many ways. The people are so friendly and warm that I wonder why I didnt stay with them in the first place.

The location is excellent with a huge number of interesting restaurants and bars with in walking distance. We could walk to the Funicular and the hop on hop of bus stop was very close by.
The staff could not ne more helpful. They can speak English in the main very well. We had a front room which was larger than some, it was perfect for a 4 night stay
A home away from home.
The breakfast was great with lovely fresh fruit and eggs cooked to order .
We could not falt the hotel but for one thing. The shower did not have great pressure nor was the water that hot.response / report this review -

Very friendly and helpful staff. Arranged a half-day tour by car for us for an elderly family member so we could all stay together and they could see the Pacific ocean (1.5 hour drive each way--worth it!!!). Free breakfast is okay, but if you want a robust meal have breakfast elsewhere. They did prepare eggs very well. Room was clean, quite, and comfortable. Windows provided excellent sound proofing from the lively neighborhood outside. The AC was broken the day we arrived, but they fixed it by evening. Interior is very interesting with art and books and a lovely lounge with free drinks and snacks available. Outdoor areas were also very pleasant. Would visit again.

An amazing experience. I stayed here a couple of months ago and the hotel was awesome. A delicate mix betwen luxury and old fashion Santiago style. Two thumbs up!

Wonderful hotel with truly professional staff. We where lucky to stay in room 19 which is the attic room with views of the Andes. I am writing this in the lovely lounge drinking a complementary glass of very nice Chilean wine.

The lounge area is beautiful, the free wine tasting is a great way to unwind and learn about Santiago from the staff, who are ever so friendly. The bed was comfortable, and the decor tasteful.

Awesome little hotel in a beautiful neighborhood of Santiago. The top of the hill behind it is a lot farther up than you'd think. Don't walk. Take the tram.

We stayed for four days. The staff was responsive and pleasant. Location is walking distance to subway, buses, etc.
The old mansion is restored, updated and maintained nicely. We did not mind climbing stairs. There is no elevator, but staff helps with luggage.
Our room was quiet, we heard no noise in spite of this historic neighborhood being a very popular tourist and nightlife spot. It was great to have a wide variety of restaurants, shops, etc. nearby.
Breakfast buffet was plentiful, fresh and delicious, including fruit salad, bread, coffee, tea, orange juice, jam, cheese, eggs made to order, etc.
Would certainly recommend this place and come back in the future.response / report this review -

This hotel was the picturesque place to stay in Santiago. The room was charming and service exceptional. Includes breakfast with fresh linens and crystal glasses and great wifi. We really enjoyed our stay here and we're very comfortable. Located in the heart of Bellavista, there are cute cafes and must see attractions walking distance. Nicholas was especially helpful at the front desk :) highly recommended.

Lunch on April 3. We sat on a shaded veranda. Service was eager and knowledgeable and Pablo spoke excellent English which was helpful as the menu is in somewhat old-fashioned Spanish. The menu is designed to be comfort food - or the kind of food your grandmother would have cooked and the Chilean in our group said they were achieving their goal. Everything I ate (a bean soup, a pasta) was delicious.
