This hotel is one of the single best lodging experiences in all of Chile. I stayed in one of the villa rooms which included both an indoor tub and outdoor hot tub. Every small detail was designed to make you feel at home, and completely relaxed. From heated floors to auto-lights in the closet, the VIRA VIRA's accommodations were superb. However, to talk only about the room would be missing the point. What makes it worthwhile to visit and stay at the VIRA VIRA is obviously the experience of your stay which is all inclusive in the price. My crew and I signed up for the rather aggressive volcano ski tour (only suggested for the most advanced of skiers) followed by hot springs. On a more mellow day we did a tour of the town of Pucon, including visiting the wooden flower makers and local artists, followed by a cooking class with the VIRA VIRA chef Damien. I can't remember his last name but you will definitely remember his food. We learned to make a proper Pisco sour among 3 other dishes. The entire experience was sublime. I highly recommend visiting the VIRA VIRA as soon as possible. Make sure to see the miniature goats or get a tour of the dairy if possible! Did I mention everything consumed there is made on premises? Complete farm to table. Again, get there!
