Nice place, nice staff, great drinks. I will be back!
Went back the next night and had the fish stew - unbeatable! Staff as friendly as ever. A superb Restaurent. Thanks Galindo!
I'm a firm believer that bread can make or break a sandwich. Galindo nails it with a slight crunch on the outside and fluffy goodness on the inside. Add a little lomito to the bunch and you've got a sandwich from heaven.
This is your stop for a good quality Chilean food. Excellent service, fresh vegetables and tasty food. You should try Pastel de choclo, it is really delicious. Good environment, fast service. No crazy wait time. Highly recommended. Their desserts look awesome but I didn’t have any space to try them.
This was not a place to go for a fancy dinner or anything light/fancy, but if you're in the mood for grease and alcohol this is an excellent excellent choice. A group of three of us ordered the chorillana and a $6000 "jug" of house wine, which turned out to be a generous pitcher of sangria and it was perfect. We were full and satisfied after just that. To be fair though, I don't know that we would have been as happy if we had ordered anything else from the menu.
People could be under the impression that both the portions and the prices are rather large, however it must be kept in mind that Galindo is neither vegan, nor vegetarian nor in any way pretending to be a healthy food place and that is something to be seriously grateful for, as the intention is to sit for a prolonged period of time and indulge in what catholics would refer with horror as the mortal sin of glutony. My most sincere congratulations to the chef, whom has with no doubt help me on my tasty way to hell.
Very good food in a traditional setting. Portions are a bit too large.
Good food and nice ambience
Grumpy waiters, they were sweeping the floor right beside us. The food still great though.
Good chilean dishes, interesting beer offer The place is very crowded most of the time and the waiters amazingly always make mistakes on the check (they charge you more)
Tendered rolled pork, okay price
Was recommended to come here by the free tour Santiago guide to try the fish fish. But the price is over a 7100 minimum and I heard that this roll pork with pork skin is good. Good choice over the fish. The staff is very attentive and great atmosphere
Authentic food. Great atmosphere. Decent prices
The best local traditional Chilean cuisine in that area. They're fast and the food is reasonably priced.
Good place, good food, reasonable price!! Missing something spectacular, but then only very very few places have it. Maybe I just did not feel it this first time.
Excellent food. A cheap place that's a great surprise.
Simply amazing no frills great food. The pastel de choclo and the seafood soup are simply delicious.
Good restaurant! A tour guide recommend the place. The food was good. Like other places I've tried in SanTiago, it was crowded, but the service wasn't so bad.
