  In one of the greener, family friendly neighborhoods of Santiago is "Fuente Suiza"; the place is at the heart of Nunoa and is surrounded by pubs and restaurants. There you can find high quality sandwiches at a decent price, I reccomend fricandelas and the local beer, which is very german-like. "Gordas", "lomito" are also recommended. Try the "italiano" style which comes with avocado (we chilean love avocado), tomatoe, and mayo.

  It'a warm place where you can go. It's not really cheap but the food is really delicious. I recommend sandwiches , hot dogs and "empanadas".
