The place looks dirty. Has no vegan options but you can order a sandwich with the ingredients you like. They didn’t have avocado though which is a bummer.
Fruit juice with pulp is not great. It doesn’t feel natural. I won’t come back
Popped in for a quick start. Waiter spoke English and they have English menus. We ordered an iced coffee + beef / cheese sandwich. Both items were delicious. Service was fast and friendly.
No sure where all negative reviews are coming from. friendly and brisk service (remember you are in Chile - everything happening slower but it gets done 😁). The best crepes (they call them panqeques) with dulce de leche and ice cream, scrambled eggs are excellent as well as coffee. Best breakfast spot in the neighborhood!!!!
Went for breakfast with boyfriend. We weren’t greeted and were given a dirty look when we asked to sit by the window as another couple just left. We ordered.. asked for side of palta and they said they were out I’m sorry but palta is practically everywhere in Chile!!!! My boyfriend went next door and purchased one from a street vendor. Food was alright.. considering the food that is served in Chile. I wasn’t given any silverware to eat. Staff is just horrendous! Hire nicer people and this could be a great breakfast spot!
Having read recommendations we arrived in the hope of a good coffee and a light bite to eat - unfortunately we got dreadful coffee that was stale, watery, bitter and unpalatable. The food was bland, lacking even seasoning and just slapped on a plate. Staff were on their phones the whole time and didn't give a dam. Very disappointed - plenty other places around and I'd recommend you try them instead and avoid disappointment
We went in for lunch, and it was poor all round. The coffee was bitter, the frothed milk was burnt, and the sandwich was tasteless. The service was terrible - the staff were on their phones the whole time and looked totally disinterested. Don't waste your time here when there are so many other better places to go
2 sided review here: My experience was; I found a seat (dining alone) was served by a very friendly sweet Hostess who took my order and my scrambled eggs and juices and water and coffee were out quickly, food was solid good, nothing exceptional but tasty. Other side: there were two other servers I watched at least three couples come in not get served tables not get cleaned food take forever So then people leave.. so it was a very strange experience. it was nice for me but very poor for several other groups so I can't recommend it even though my experience was nice. My most bizarre review to date. Owner can train and improve and this cafe could be exceptional. Time will tell.
I am 6 months pregnant, and came in asking to use the toilet. The waitress were very rude and they asked me to pay if I wanted to it, as it was for 'customers only'. How can someone manage a business with such low service and solidarity standards. Anyone getting in is a potential customer I had never seen something like that in Chile.
The breakfast spot in Valpo! Great way to stroll out and start your day!
Good service and tasty breakfast. We came around 12 and got a table right away although it was quite full. Coffee was great too (makes a nice break from Nescafé) but inconsistent. Second coffee was hotter and stronger. The eggs came with three toast. I ordered avocado (palta) as an extra too.
Very good standard breakfast spot with real coffee. They had menus in both Spanish and English. Good value, would highly recommend.
Don't respect opening or closing hours that are informed at its own website, by email or that is informed at shop's outer wall.
I tried to have actual breakfast 3 times there around the New Year at times and days they said it'd be opened. In every try it was either simply closed or yet to open
Every time it was opened (which I saw only in lunch and "tea" hours), it was bucked with people. I wonder if it's because the restaurant is actually good or/and if it's as I heard a lot over there: they just take too long to serve
