The front side is composed in general of blue flat uninteresting runs, though there is a nice long cruiser between the front side and the backside. On a really good day the backside is amazing, though it's all rope tow to get to the good stuff, so get ready for the thigh burn if you're riding.
The biggest bummer is that all chairs are mind-numbingly SLOWare we at the top yet? No.
Considering that the lift tickets for Colorado, are comparable in price to those of Valle Nevado, I would choose Nevado if you're not familiar with the area. They have longer runs, and high-speed lifts. Much more of a scene if you're into that. The restaurant is better. And the views are a lot better also.
I chose El Colorado because they were offering a Monday through Friday pass for the season at less than $150 usd, and considering day tickets are about 75 bucks (absurd given the terrain), to any of the resorts including El Colorado, it was a no-brainer, since I was skiing primarily during the workweek anyway.
Check it out, any skiing day is a good day, but it could use some improvement.

Centro de sky muy cerca de la ciudad de Santiago con canchas desde principiantes hasta expertos. Posee un pueblo de montaña con departamentos muchos para la renta y existen restaurantes y escuela de sky.

Ótimo lugar para iniciar no snowboard, principalmente para quem não pode ou não quer dormir na montanha, pois está muito perto de Santiago do Chile.

Went on the last day in 2016 season. Spring ski conditions were amazing because it is so dry that all water evaporates. The best part of the mountain was the rope toes in the back. I bet if I had come in July or August I would have been even more amazed. I definitely want to come back.
The reason I gave it 4 stars was because infrastructure wasn't great. So pack your lunch and bring some beers. It's better this way cause then you won't get distracted by partying and can focus on riding or skiing.
There was a great hostel called Montanita but I could not find it on Expedia or Bookings. The place was in Farallones.response / report this review -
