  You get what you pay for - in this case at least $12 USD lower than any other hostel we found in the central Arica area. We enjoyed our time here and would come back again, but this is not the place for you if room appearance is a big part of your enjoyment.
  
  The hostel atmosphere is open and friendly.
  The sheets are worn but clean - the beds are also good. The rooms are fine but not cosmetically maintained. The water runs fine but needs fiddling with to get hot water, not that it's needed in the beach town heat. The owner, Don Luis, is very friendly and helpful though he may not give that as a first impression; his wife is outgoing and friendly from the get go.
  Locals use this place as a family beach bungalow style accommodation and pets are allowed. Expect a little bit of noise that dies out quickly after 10 or 11. Everyone we met was very friendly and outgoing.

  Precios realmente baratos. Pero deben trabajar en remodelar el lugar y en mejorar el aseo.
