Let's start off by saying I'm a flight attendant who's stayed at many different hotels, fellow co-workers said how bad this hotel is but I was optimistic after seeing the photos, the first time I got to the room, it wasn't bad, just a tad smaller than more, so i thought I could work with this. The water pressure for the shower was alittle lacking though, after my shower I got into the bed which felt as though it was made out of stones with the pillows being mini stones, by far the worst hotel bed experience thus far. The 2nd time I arrived here, upon opening my door a smell which can only be described as the smell a dead rodent posses hits me straight in the face, upon called the front desk for some air freshener they said they didn't have any, after not being able to take the smell for about another 10 minutes I called again and asked to switch rooms and was told that's not possible. I am only staying in this hotel because it's paid for by my work, don't do this to yourself if you don't have to. Stay somewhere else. ~safe flying!

The night before we stayed at the Wyndham airport hotel in Lima.
We had the same size room, same size bed, same number of towels, same size TV, and the people running this place were just as nice.
There were a few differences, one was no tea or coffee maker in the room, the other was no bacon with breakfast here.
The biggest difference was the price, two nights cost less than one night in the Wyndham hotel, and what sets them apart , well I think staff at both locations worked to make our stay, a good stay, for me I felt very comfortable at the City Express and would be happy to tell people to stay there.
One last thing the Wyndham refused to providence with an itemized bill I had to trust that the price was correct.
City Express I had no problem there they provided an itemized bill without asking.response / report this review -

It's missing a shuttle from airport until late hours. Taxi can charge you a fortune for a 5 minute drive. Uber could be an option except they are "illegal" in this area. Room was comfortable, friendly staff, healthy breakfast.

Excellent location for those catching a plane from Santiago. Clean. Modern. Best price. Airport van leaves on the hour and on time. The restaurant was a very pleasant surprise. Food was good and very tasty.

It is a very convenient place to stay if you are in transit, waiting for a connection to your next flight! Rooms are pretty good, with air conditioning and locker and the breakfast is included! Besides, it has free airport transfers beginning at 2 am The rates are pretty good as well Go and stay there to have a very relaxing night!

Airconditioning was extremely noisy keeping us awake most of the night. Turning it off wasn't an option as the room heated up real quick. Restaurant was out of service so couldn't eat in. Place looks nice enough though so 2 stars.

Room was ok. Good shades. The poor water pressure is annoying. They are trying to be green I guess. But in a amateur way.
Breakfast is bad. I guess you have to be there at 7 am to get a plate a glass and a bowl. Afterwards you will have to ask for everything. No bowls or coffee cups available for the whole breakfast. Only paper cups (in a 4 star hotel) if you lucky they will bring out new food to the buffet. Anyway, time to travel on.response / report this review -

Had to try room service two times before getting my order running. Bad shuttle to airport schedules. Coffee machine was out of coffee. Good rooms, and decwnt bathrooms, but the towel hanger was loose and the hand washer was pressurized .

The stay and the room, was great, clean, quiet and warm. The service however was worth revisiting ways to improve it. When booking the room I was assured the airport transfer was included and booked for me. When I landed in Santiago and asked in the transvip stand, that was not the case. In the hotel itself, someone in my floor had a bottle of pineapple juice fell in the floor by accident. There was glass and spill in the middle of the corridor. I gave a call to reception to send someone to clean it since it was a hazard, and it took over 2 hours to finally be sorted. Finally, I had dinner in the restaurant with my partner, and she got some sort of food poisoning. When mentioned in the reception the following morning, a mere 'Oh well we are sorry' was given in response to my notification to them.

If you are on budget and need to stay close to the airport, it is okay. Nothing to do or see around here. Stay only if you are looking for a clean room, the free shuttle and the breakfast (nothing special). I was hoping to have a frustration free stay but had a lot of problems with the WiFi connection during my stay in every device I had (computer, tablet and phone). The router refused to provide an IP address and the staff said they couldn't restart the router. They did their best to solve and it took a long time to fix. A few hours later, the problem happened again but this time a phone call worked (they probably decided to restart the router).
They also have a gym but I found it very small and the lack of free weights and a better quality treadmill couldn't convince me to use it.response / report this review -

Great option for a quick stopover or long layover. Free shuttle to and from the airport make it a super easy option. Very helpful staff.

The room was excelent. The transfer worked nicely. We got to the breakfeast after 10 and at this time the hotel wasnt recharging things. This was the only bad point. Very good experience.
