Lovely views of Isla Negra, wonderful insight into the life of one of the greatest poets of the 20th century. Neruda's final and most loved home is full of interesting objects he collected from all over the world - mastheads, shells, furniture, art. Absolute must visit if you're passing through Santiago/Valparaiso.

Off the beaten path but appears to be a big destination for Chileans. The scenery from the house is incredible and the home is basically a collection of randomness built into a fun quirky design. The audio guides offered in multiple languages are awesome

Beautiful views and great food. The Pisco Sour was awesome. Machas a la parmesana and camarones al pil pil were our appetizer choices. Try this place, you'll love it.

I didn't like audioguías that much but I enjoyed a lot the house and it's decorations. Neruda lived a very interesting life and you should go to his last house to know a little more about him. It's expensive to enter it.

Poet Pablo Neruda's house museum in the beach town of Isla Negra.
The place it's lovely: the enormous collection of art, artefacts and furniture. The view of the beach and the garden are beautiful and the restaurant in the museum offers a nice variety of delicious sea food and fish.
My only dislike is that if you'd like to learn about Pablo Neruda's work or his life as a politician there's nothing. So it works great for a day out at the beach, visit the house of a Nobel Prize winner and have a tasty lunch with a great view. But if you wanted to learn about his poetry or his legacy as a politician, try the library!
