Best view but regret the 5 days. Following review is on the top most cabin. Pros: 20 minutes walk into town; I shed a few pounds. Very nice view of the Pacific ocean. Quiet at night. Nice deck. Cons: Unkempt rustic: Torn chair pillows and shower curtain. Stained towels. Sliding door would not close so leaked in air. Not safe to run the propane heater at night so it was quite cold. No instructions on the WiFi name or password. Dull knives. Final thought: a new manager (owner?) is coming in, perhaps they will have more time to devote to the cabañas.

The owner lied to us: Upon arrival at Buena Vista Cabanas the owner told us she did not have a reservation for us. We showed her the email with confirmation number and she said no,” I never got that. Sorry.” She did not offer to accommodate us. She was not apologetic. In fact, she told us it wasn't her fault. She blamed us for reserving the wrong dates – we then showed her the confirmation email AGAIN. After convincing her to help us, we were shown another set of cabanas that were smaller and more expensive. She promised to make up the difference of the cost, but when we arrived at the new set of cabanas she attempted to leave without doing so. I reminded her of what she agreed to and she said she would take care of it. SHE DID NOT. This was an incredibly poor experience. Be aware of the ethics (or lack) of this establishment.
