  One of the best zoo in West Africa I may say. The entrance fee is only 500 FCFA (around 1 USD) but it's good enough.
  
  They have a variety of animals - so it's cool to visit around the zoo.
  
  The animals are human-immuned so they seem so bored with humans.
  
  The conditions of the zoo sometimes very low-maintained, cuz I think the ticket is so cheap.
  
  They could increase the ticket fee and use that for maintaining the zoo and support the living conditions for the animals.
  
  Anyway, you should come here when you visit Abidjan.

  Of course, a zoo experience ought to be an exciting one. For the most part, it usually is. A short walk from Eden, the zoo entry point works swiftly. The animals are all in caged enclosures, except the elephant. Most of the cages aren't very clean and you can see depression in the eyes of most apes. Their living conditions aren't all condusive especially the one that's been there since 1977. The staff at the zoo are very friendly and helpful. They try their best English and have good knowledge of the zoo

  Easy to reach there. Very cheap entrance fees: 300 FCFA per adult & 100 FCFA per child.
  
  Animals available are : Elephant, Lions, leopard, Chimpanzees, different varieties of monkeys, Ducks, Deer, Ostrich, Tortoise, Buffalo, Kites, Eagle, Various Birds, Snakes, Crocodiles, Hippopotamus, Mongoose, Zebra etc….

  Definitely some animals with character in decent situations. Quite a few of the environments are in need of improvement or expansion, but due to donations from foreign governments and companies there is a great diversity of interesting fauna.

  We found the visit entertaining, though there are just few animals. War has left traces there. Out of 8 mini hippos only one remains, two lions, forest elephant and plenty of monkeys.
