Je fréquente cet hôtel depuis 2014. J'y suis quasiment chaque mois. A Abidjan, si vous cherchez un vrai hôtel moins cher, il n'y pas de meilleure adresse. Propreté des lieux 10/10, courtoisie du personnel 10/10, repas 7/10, standing 7/10

Établissement Hôtelier, Très agréable avec bon nombre de commodités en plein centre de yopougon avec une très bonne sécurité, dans un cadre reposant et conviviale. Accès facile sur une voie bien tracée.

The hotel is overall pretty good. On the 3 nightS stay we did not encounter any serious problems at all. The minor problems was the wifi.the signal reception drops during periods of inactivity. The other problem is that opened concept shower in the standard room was too opened that water tends to soak the washroom floor. We compensated for it by putting extra towels on the floor to soak excess water.
The best kept secret about the detente is the excellent customer service of its staff. Especially the front staff. (Some speak english) They are phenomenal.(Wilfrid is my favorite)(He):
Helped me with Ivorian sim card installation and activation of my phone;
Helped us get my Canadian currency exchanged into Ivorian C FA at a very good rate;
Helped provide us with a taxi to get around whenever we needed to get around.;
Whenever we needed to explore the neighborhood on foot, he pointed out to us the great attractions that were situated right within the vicinity of the hotel, and much much more.
finally the other minor downside to the staying there is the fact that Detente does not have an onsite gym. But The food is good. Their complimentary breakfast is off the charts..Its unbelievable. If you are visiting try their ginger drink included the free breakfastis unbelievable.
All in all it is a very good hotel. The wife and I , give it 4 stars in terms of staff customer service, cleanliness, safety within Yopougon, its complimentary breakfast especially the GINGER DRINK!!!response / report this review -

L'hôtel Détente è incastonato come una bomboniera in mezzo ad una periferia caotica di una metropoli brulicante; ma il verde patio interno accoglie i clienti come un'oasi nel Sahara: frescura rilassante e silenzio monacale. Nelle stanze non solo regna una puliziasvizzera (non ho visto né insetti né zanzare), ma tutto funziona: luci, prese elettriche ed acqua calda. Le lavoratrici sono sia ben educate e sia laboriose, tanto da servire la colazione in camera. L'unico neo è la notevole lontananza dal centro, per cui occorre il taxi:arancione per la città e blu (CFA 4.500)per l'aeroporto. Sconsigliabili sono i mezzi pubblici (camionette che sembrano residuati bellici): non tanto per la sicurezza, bensì a causa dell'aria irrespirabile per i nostriolfatti occidentali. Alberto Pallotti.

I stayed here for about 10 days over two trips in March 2015. The staff are amazing: friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained. The neighborhood is not the best: people in my office raised their eyebrows when I mentioned the district. However, I never felt unsafe, particularly as the hotel has its own security staff. I'd highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a great value and a comfortable stay in a boutique hotel.
