Nice hotel, rooms are spacious, bathroom is clean and user friendly. The menu is manageable even if you aren't a local. The hotel stuff are friendly and helpful but do well to learn some basic French before heading to Ivory Coast in general. LoL

Being a star property most of the staff can't communicate in English. The service is below par. Even the restaurant service levels are not the one you will expect in a star hotel.

The hotel is new and well located in Abidjan for business trip and networking. They host numerous conferences and networking events even though they just opened last year. It's in the middle of the Boulevard Valéry Giscard d'Estaing or VGE Bld. It's 10 minutes away from Downtown (le plateau ) and also 10 to 15 mn away from the port, the airport and Abidjan North wish is on the other side of the lagunes.

Total confusion amongst staff and poor customer service at front desk in addition to a broken shower (faucet and drain).
After using the fitness center my card stopped working and the staff refused to activate it and tried to check me out. It made no sense, here I am in the lobby, sweating in gym gear and them trying to check me out, even though I have late check out. I had to demand my room key back.
Cleaning staff took my souvenir glass while cleaning, honest mistake I'm sure but just added to my irritation.
Otherwise the hotel is very nice and the other service areas are pretty good. Front desk is complicating my stay though.
Better communication amongst front desk staff and honoring what they said will make this place much better.response / report this review -
