It is a very nice and "green" zoo, it is really like walking in a botanical garden, but with animals, I'm just always afraid when pasing by the Lions ( since there is a very small fence), 😱

Basel Zoo is worth a visit especially for the family with kids
You can easily spend a day here.

Really clean and well maintained zoo. Great for family s. The indoor sections make it a fun visit even on rainy days.

A great Zoo. Some ways are a little small when you have a buggy. The underwater area gives a lot to see. And there is a big restaurant. It's a very beautiful Zoo. But for a family with two kids, you need more than 100 francs for a visit.

A good zoo. Great paths to walk around. They have a rare Sun Bear, between a bear and a primate. The elephant area is impressive as well.

Beautiful zoo, not too many species. The animals look like they are being taken good care of. Lots of baby animals when I visited. Would have liked to see bigger areas for some of the animals.

A very nice zoo with great animals. There are quite a few attractions that allow kids to climb and play which is a great complement.

Well structured Zoo with a great variety of well kept animals. Fair prices, reduction for families and seniors available. Definitely worth a visit.
