The most confusing train station I know. The different train lines, S-Bahn lines and tram lines are very difficult to find and at times there is just no simple way from one track to another or to the ticket hall.

Clean, organized and beautiful. Centrally located in Zurich. Super access to trains, trams and buses nearby. Taxi stand outside. Plenty of shopping and eateries inside. Swiss trains leave on time.not even a minute late!!!!

Brilliant station. Every thing is as you expect in a well run station.
As expected very busy

It's lovely to stand watching the board and realise where the trains are destined for, or coming from.

Had to go the office for a special ticket, and was a bit put off by the queues. My mistake.

But.. i should not have been it moves very quickly. Thanks

In my posted pics you can see the lockers facility available at Zurich HB. They are available in many sizes. Big ones are big enough to contain my big trolley bags. I put them aside for reference in another picture. The way to use the lockers is very easy. Just put the coins and and once your amount is correct, you can pull the key out. While taking the luggage out, just put the key back, open it and take your luggage out. Key will stay there. It will take only Swiss Franks, not euro. There is a currency converter machine on the floor, so don't worry about that :)

One of the nice train stations in Europe. Spacious, clean, well signed and a highly efficient transportation hub for connections with Switzerland and Europe. Trains most of the time leave very punctual as expected in Switzerland. Also a decent number of shops which have open on Sundays. Even it is hard to believe, all the other shops have closed during Sunday. Although Zurich describes itself as an international capital, it is not don't come here on Sunday, you will be bored it feels like a death city.

Zürich has the best public transportation I have seen. Just make sure to get your travel card validated in an orange box before you get on the train.

Nice train station with a lot of magazines for a last-minute souvenir shopping. Very organized for people with disabilities. One of the best train station that I've ever seen.

The biggest railway station in Switzerland is offering trains in every part of the country but also a great number of shops, which are usually open 365 days a year. If you need food go to Migros (they also sell hot food to take away) or Coop (located outside the station). There is free wifi.

It is a impressive station and shopping center. But I had a serious problem to find my train to Amsterdam. And you can't find anyone to help.
