Cool "vertical ride" to the top where you can see the Emosson dam with its magnificent construction. You will be also rewarded by the most stunning view of the mountains. The ride has three parts : funicular, a panoramic train and then a mini funicular.
We got a 20% family discount on the tickets.
A nice restaurant at the top where you can get the best cheese fondue

Bit pricey, but well worth a visit for the stunning views from the top. The funicular lives up to its name and goes vertically up the mountain - sit at the front for the best views and photographic opportunities, as long as you're not scared of heights! The mini train at the first level weaves you around the mountain side amidst fantastic vistas, whilst the tiny funicular whizzes you right to the top. The dams at the top are a feat of great engineering and there are walks to enjoy around them.

A ne pas raté superbe panorama sensations fortes paysages somptueux .Funiculaire avec pente á plus de 86 degrés plus le petit train avec une vue sur les ravins et pour finir l'ascension un autre funiculaire a presque 2000 mètres d'altitude !! avec une promenade sur le barrage d'Emosson

Excursion féerique dans les Alpes, avec une vue exceptionnelle sur le massif du Mont-blanc.
La promenade, malgré un prix assez élevé mais justifié par le caractère exceptionnel des installations et le coût de l'entretien de celles-ci, ne doit absolument pas être loupée.
Et pour que la journée soit vraiment parfaite, le top, c'est de partir de Vernayaz ou de Martigny avec le train à crémaillère (Martigny-Chatelard) et faire un arrêt aux Marecottes pour visiter le zoo alpin et de se baigner (en été quand il fait très chaud) dans dans sa piscine "naturelle" au milieu des rochers.
Le tout forme une journée inoubliable et bien remplie. A ne manquer sous aucun prétexte si vous êtes dans la région !response / report this review -

One of the Best Tourist Attractions in Switzerland!!! 3 amazing trains, including the steepest in the world! The panoramique train is so much fun!!! I smiled like a little kid! 😁 and once you get to the top, the view of Mont Blanc and the dam is breathtaking! A day that I will never forget!
