I was looking for the lonely planet guide to the north east in India. They didn't have it which was surprising. In fact they seemed to have a relatively small selection of LP guides compared to even regular stores. Strange. But the staff were helpful.

First visited in 1999, quite casually. While not as extensive as Sanford's in London, on subsequent visits for such a small shop, the staff is Extremely helpful, shipping even huge French IGM, injection-molded plastic relief topographic maps: to the USA. The map made it well to California. I am careful to give it such a high-rating for client competition, but the exchange rate and the priority of most tourists to visit the larger European cities causes no fear that people will swamp this place. Additionally, the ETH being so close has a good enough collection of cartographers to keep them interesting.
