It is cozy, and is definitely one of the upscale options in the area. Staff is very attentive, accommodations are great. We had noisy neighbors on our floor with kids with no manners, but otherwise it was pleasant.
Parking is very tight (but hotel staff will help with that).

We took a trip with another couple for my birthday in August 2017. We couldn't speak more highly of the hotel! The atmosphere, staff, cleanliness, and views deserve 5 stars all around! The hotel even accommodated my Mom calling in from the US in making me a special birthday cake as a surprise. In particular, we received spectacular service from Johnny & Roman at the bar and Svenja at the front desk/management! The young woman who provided our spa treatments were incredible, as well. The spa facilities are amazing with the various types of spas, pools, and showers. Of course, the outdoor infinity pool was phenomenal with breaktaking views of the surrounding alps and rolling greens mountains. The fact that we can walk around the hotel in our robes made it extra special, for that true spa feeling!

The location of the hotel is perfect, as well, as it is right in the center of town making it easy to explore. It's also in close proximity to Oeschinensee and Kandersteg where there is a bunch to see and do.

Highly recommend; we will be coming back! Thank you to "The Cambrian" for my most special birthday yet :)

Great 4* hotel with a modern design, comfortable beds, a splendid view and almost all you would expect from a beautiful place like this. However some of the staff seem to have difficulty speaking another language than German Funny since the place has a real Anglo-saxon vibe.
The massage therapists are excellent! The Spa is comfortable and the outside pool is great but unfortunately next to the restaurant.
The restaurant offers good food with a nice concept of dishes to share.

Very good experience, for sure one of the best hotels in the region. The friendliness and support offered by the staff is outstanding, close to perfect. The barman is as well a big plus. Stylish design, very good spa area and offer, would for sure recommend to go there. But it is not cheap!

Went for my birthday for 5 days. Staff great, food great, stunning views. Spent most of my time in the pool. Totally lost myself in the views from the pool and got burnt.

Had room upgraded on arrival which was nice after a 16 hour motorcycle ride.

This is a great place to escape!

Very good stay, will come back. The view is fantastic, the staff friendly and welcoming. The hotel is decorated with style and give you this feeling of being at home.

Food is good without been exceptional. The wine list in impressive, desert could be improved.

The rooms are very nicely decorated and warm. Lobby , bar and terrasse are also very nicely decorated and welcoming.

The best is probably the breakfast, specially if you can eat outside. Nice choice and quality is very good, fresh.

Above all the staff is very nice. Go there if you feel that you need a week-end to rest and have this "feel-good" feeling afterward.
