You almost need two days to see this incredible Museum. From the trains both old and new to the submarines boats planes and cars if you are not impressed with this Museum nothing will make you happy. The collection of classic cars in Swiss made automobiles is nothing short of world-class! I hope I get to come back one day and see the rest of the museum we spent 6 hours here and still only saw three-quarters of it.

Loved it Keep ample of time when you visit it Kids will love the outside play area and there are many interactive games inside where the adult can also play around.

It's a brilliant museum with so much fun and play for kids. There are so many things to do and to play both indoor and outdoor. Trampoline, little SBB train ride, ship ride, virtual aircraft controlling, long slide The museum is big enough to entertain all kids and adults with different sorts of games and exhibitions. Kids can spend the whole day there and never get bored.
There's a big restaurant in the museum. It serves different kind of food and definitely calm your hungry kids down.
The museum is also very easy to be accessed by public transport(train+bus). Not far from the museum, you will see a piece of grassland with wonderful lake view, it's a perfect place for picnic before or after the museum tour.response / report this review -

The best museum we have ever been. It's so child friendly and unbelievably interactive. Loads of games to play. A mini ski jump, I.interactive train driving rides. The list is endless

Lots of exhibits and games for the kids, but interesting for adults, too. Trains, planes and automobiles - boats and space too - plus a fun house of mirrors. Could easily spend 3-4 hours or more.

Situated north of the river, which is only a few bus stops away from the central station. The exhibits were fine tastefully and well maintained. Should come if you enjoy looking at boats, cars, etc. Should take about 4 hours to go through the exhibits and interact with games. Worth the visit.

Neat experience. The museum is divided into various sections, all focusing on different transportation modes. There is a scale model of the Gotthard tunnel. There are classic cars on display, and ski lifts throughout the ages.
The planetarium has a scale photograph of Switzerland that you can glide across (with booties) and locate various spots that have highlighted disks to match. Neat way to get the scale of travel, while it may look close on the photo, the actual trip will involve lots of elevation.

Amazing Experience. Must visit. Keep aside at least four hours if you are a transport buff. Recommended for all age groups. You do get a discount if you have a Swiss Travel Pass.

I was really hesitant of going here. The price is rather high and wasn't sure wed get the bang for the buck. It rained so we went. Great time! It's all about the kids. They can touch everything and climb on most things. The cafe has decent prices and if you have a Swiss pass you get half off entry. We would have stayed all day if it wasn't for nap time.

Enjoy a ride outside in a pedalo, put the kids on the roof of a minuscule buss and ride around or go inside to learn about history of cars, trains etc. Or play and learn some physics with some marbles, sheets of paper and wooden blocks.
Happily there's also restaurants as time flies when you're having fun.response / report this review -

An amazing place for transportation lovers. You get to experience the evolution of the entire Swiss transport system. History, games, simulators, food, videos, media world, planetarium, trip to chocolate factory, future transport model and the list goes on. Plan your trip starting early in the morning because the entire day might not be enough. Some of the experiences are paid but it is definitely worth the cost. Wonderful memories to take away and cherish for lifetime.

The best transportation museum I have ever seen. A bit pricey, but sooooo good for kids. You really could spend most of the day here. There is a lot to do and a lot to explore. Very interactive. I wish the price was a bit lower, but everything is twice as expensive in Switzerland as it should be.
