Brilliant area but horrible staff, they only work 3 hours a day (8-11), we had the nerve to arrive at 6pm and the woman started shouting and pointing to the schedule, showed us to a bad spot swearing in german all the way. Definitely not worth the visit, nicer places around without the trolls.
Initially very good, spoke English, helpful. Facilities very clean and ideal. Quiet site despite lots of families. But then the owner decided she didn't like us. No mention of check out time when we paid the night of arrival but we had intended staying for another night if it was quiet. So just after 11am following morning she decided it was time to start to be rude. Firstly told us to leave or pay for parking (we were about to pay for second night), then told me I couldn't use the water hose. I asked why and she decided I could. Even with the 'lost in translation' factor her and her even more rude sister were beyond unreasonable. We are on honeymoon and so far have found the Swiss people the nicest and most helpful you could wish to meet. We instantly decided we would not stay another night and left. I hate negative reviews and I'm sure all the other positive are spot on. The place was great apart from the dragon and her sister having a bad day maybe. I'm sure someone else on another day would have a great experience. But there are lots of nice places where we would rather spend our money. Won't come back to this site.
Small very friendly campsite in the Lauterbrunnen valley amazing views all around. Easy accessable walks for all, river runs along side the site with a direct footpath leading into Lauterbrunnen itself, highly recommend this site for a relaxing holiday.👍👍👍👍👍
Superb.
The facilities are spotless, probably cleaner than my place! Also a fairytale setting in the valley surrounded by stunning scenery, just perfect.
The most amazing setting in the world! Roaring river close by. Close to team for Murren , waterfalls, hiking. Very quiet. Clean
Very nice place.
We have a permanent holiday chalet here and have been coming for years. It's a very well-run site with immaculate showers and toilets for campers. There is also laundry washing and drying facilities available, mains power take-off for caravans and a small shop. This is a very quiet location about 300-metres form the Trummelbach falls and walking distance from the cable-car up to Gimmelwald and Murren, or to Lauterbrunnen and up to Wengen and on to Kleine Scheidegg and the Jungfraujoch.
Nice place for tents. Clean facilities ( bathroom , kitchens, etc)
