The camp site is very pretty, with a tent we sre just a few meters away from the lake side.
Small playground for kids and possibilities to build camp fires/BBQ.
The lake is beautiful and so is the sceneryfor that, i would come back.
Upon our arrival (thu) the toilets at the camp site were cleanby saturday that had changed, the place was filthy and i never saw anybody cleaning it.
The other facilities (showers, laundry) were far-ish away.
The owner, drunk as a skunk most of the time is not extremely helpfulwe had emailed ahead and made a reservation of which he seemed to have no recollection or recordbut we still got a nice spot.
Bottom linein spite of the disadvantages, for the lake and the scenery and the possibility of making fires, we would come backresponse / report this review -

Operators are completely drunk - lot's of fun talking to them :)
Yes, pricy and a bit of noise from nearby train tracks and road during the day (also in early morning hours), but the lake and mountain ridge view are absolutely stunning!

Campingplatz voll okay. Inhaber/Campingplatzleiter aber eine absolute Frechheit. Hat nichts mehr mit Service zu tun!

Accueillis par un type visiblement complètement alcoolisé, qui nous refuse d'abord l'accès car nous dormons à l'arrière de notre break aménagé, et nous propose finalement 25 CHF "à la tête du client" pour la nuit pour stationner dans un recoin en gravillon (alors que les autres stationnent sur l'herbe mais "not on the grass for you") en nous mettant la pression arguant qu'il fermait dans 5 minutes et que ce prix était justifié par le fait que nous allions utiliser ses douches, du coup nous sommes partis à quelques centaines de mètres : grand parking, gratuit la nuit, en bord de lac avec plage en herbe, sanitaires (y compris douches) et vue sublime et nous avons utilisé notre douche embarquée !

Good camping at the bank of Wallen lake. But car parking separate from places for Tent.

Very nice camping. The view is fabulous and the place for tents is quite good. There's also a room for campers where you can read oder watch TV. Sanitary are a bit far but you have toilets beside the place for tents. People there are gentle.
Only a bit expensive but that's the regular price in Switzerland. The railways are in front of the camping so that can be a bit noisy.response / report this review
