  If you don't have enough time in Interlaken, don't hesitate to explore this beautiful spot! The real Swissness will welcome you with Alphorn and crazy beautiful view. Highly recommended!

  Amazing views, fantastic walks and when you are lucky you can even spot a rare salamander. Do the round trip or one of the longer walks. We walked from here over the Faulhorn to the First. Stunning!!!

  Absolutely amazing. Riding the train up and popping out of a tunnel to see some real bangers of mountains is something I won't forget. We got there too early in June to walk to First through the pass, but still got a good hike in.

  Turen opp til Schynige Platte går med et ettspors tog. Enkelte steder langs banen er det svært bratt. Ettersom Schynige Platte ligger høyt oppe i fjellene, så kan været variere. Selve fjellet, og utsikten, kan være nydelig om været er på ens side. Været var ikke på det aller beste da jeg var der, men likevel en uforglemmelig tur. PS! Her må man holde seg til de merkede løypene, noe jeg ikke gjorde ved ett tilfelle, og da fikk jeg virkelig merke hvor glatt og sleipt det var på gresset, sommerstid.

  Excellent train ride in an old fashioned style train car. The view from the top has an excellent view of the Bernese Oberland Mountains! Wonderful hiking opportunities on the top or you can just enjoy the view from the restaurant.
